When using terminal, I get the message that all com ports are in use and I have to free one up before I can continue. Also, in control panel, only coms 1, 2, and 3 show up in the device contention window. I have a logitech serial mouse and a 2400bps internal modem in com 2 and 4 respectively, and I am sure that both operate outside of windows and also in real or standard mode. These are the only serial devices I am using. I have tried reinstalling windows, my mouse and my modem, but I get the same problems. Has anybody else had these problems? Any help would be appreciated. -- ;;; John A. Moschetto ;;; State University of New York at Buffalo ;;; Department of Computer Science ;;; jam@acsu.buffalo.edu
