I downloaded the file fonts.lzh from cica, and installed most of the fonts in it. I have access to a LaserWriter II NT, so the intent is to have screen fonts for the built in fonts of the LaserWriter for use with MS Write. Well, when I try to use Avant Garde or Bookman at 10 pt from within Write, the screen font comes out Italic! The problem goes away if I a) use 12 pt or b) uninstall the Avant-Garde Oblique / Bookman-Italic fonts from the control panel. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? Also, I have heard that ATM will better render Postscript fonts on screen and other raster devices. Question: will it render the 35 fonts built into the LaserWriter II NT (My impression is that it will only do 14). Can I get the remaining font files via anon ftp? I don't want to purchase any fonts, because the 35 built in fonts is all I need. I just want a way to display them on screen. Thanks! Milan .
