The reason for needing to be notified at the Xlib level is that the these windows are created by other applications, which may not be based on XView (also even if they were, their XView window objects would be in a separate data space anyway.) Is there a way of inserting an Xlib eventhandler in the XView notifier loop? If not, shouldn't there be one? This seems to be a serious deficiency. Can I replace the XView notifier loop with my own? Many thanx, Sal Cataudella -- Sal Cataudella Internet: salc@alfred.shearson.com UUCP: ...!uunet!slcpi!alfred!salc (212) 464-3871
