Before I drive myself absolutely bugsh*t, I thought I'd plea for help from the net... I have a Sparcstation at home, running SunOS 4.? with OpenWindows 2.0. I am using bash as my shell. When I start a shelltool or cmdtool from the workspace menu, my stty settings are screwy; they are set so that there is no echo, and newlines are not echoed. When I start an xterm, on the other hand, everything is fine, and any shelltools I start from the .xinitrc are fine too. If I toggle the scrollbars on the faulty shelltool, sometimes (but not usually), this resolves the problem! I cannot duplicate this problem here at work, and I am about at the end of my rope trying to nail it down at home. Any ideas? -- --- Greg Pasquariello Unify Corporation grp@Unify.Com
