The protocol document (version 5.0P) refers to a document called "PEX Introduction and Overview", which I have not been able to locate on expo. The versions on giza.cis.ohio-state.edu seem to be out-of-date. Is this intro publicly available somewhere? Does anyone know how easily existing PHIGS programs will convert to PEX programs using X-windows? For Sun Sparc systems, will there be noticable performance differences between PEX running in immediate mode and XGL? Please send me e-mail with answers, as I am not a regular reader of this list. Also, post answers to comp.windows.x as well. Thanks in advance for any help related to these questions! -Irv Lustig Assistant Professor Dept. of Civil Engineering and Operations Research Princeton University irv%basie@princeton.edu
