HELP!

I'm am looking for information on any books which cover XLIB programming.
I need to get some reviews of possible text books to be used in an interactive
graphics course (grad level).  The books should be on an intermediate to
advanced level and should have plenty of examples.

I am finding that reviews of books about X Window programming are very  
difficult to find.

Does anyone have any favorites?
