I'm looking for an application that does this:

In a multi-workstation classroom situation, the instructor asks a
multiple-choice question.  She runs "xpoll" which opens a window on
each student's display.  The window shows the possible answers as menu
items.  Students choose an answer and the results are instantly tallied
on the instructor's machine.

Is there anything out there that does this, or something like it?
