I do this the long way - via XtToolkitInitialization, XtCreateApplicationContext, XtOpenDisplay and XtAppCreateShell. The problem I have is that the application doesn't seem to work on displays with multiple screens or variable plane depth (this is specific to a Tektronics). I would like the application to use defaults so that it will run irregardless of the number of screens on the display - but will just default to screen 0. Can anyone tell me what part of the X code defines and sets these things?? Any suggestions as to how to maintain protablility across several platforms?? Thanks a bunch!
