It's OUR place to educate the hearing world instead of hiding in isolation. People are people and are not aware of this unless *WE* show them the difference. Yes, I do agree services should be available so we can be a part of this world, but I also feel we should advise on what is needed. We can't blame the hearing population for their lack of knowledge and for the isolation of those who are HI. If more would come out of their shells, a lot more would be done.
