Several days ago, CNN had a report on a 'super' flight simulator
being used by US pilots to prepare for missions.

>From what I could gather, satellite data had been digitized into
a 3d map of Iraq and Kuwait. This data was stored on cd-roms. The 
system first gave the pilot the best approach to the target area, 
avoiding Iraqi air defenses. Within the target area, the pilot could
'fly' his aircraft through various approaches to find the best one.

My questions:

Is there any other info on this system?

Are there enough of them to allow all pilots to prepare this way?
