Jewell" I have read authoritative sources that say 800 mm gun "Gustav" used by German Army to batter Sevatopol was later renamed "Dora" to convince the Allies that it was actually two different weapons. I have read other, equally authoritative sources, that say it actually was two weapons. Now I'm ready to hear from anyone who can produce sources for further research. I would also like to know if anyone can justify having even one behemoth such as "Gustav" in an arsenal. Larry W. Jewell "That's not a bug, that's a feature!"
