MiniTrax 1.54: "small" Midi sequencer and sample sequences CZ Librarian 3.0: patch librarian for Casio CZ synthesizers Kamikaze DX: patch librarian for Yamaha DX synthesizers Q-Lib: patch librarian for the Ensoniq ESQ-1 synthesizer MidiScope 1.1: MIDI data analyzer/utility Bulk Sysex Utility: generic system exclusive data transfer utility The files were uploaded in the usual Mac "filename.sit.hqx" format, meaning that the files were first compressed with StuffIt 1.5.1 and then "BinHexed" to convert them to a portable ascii format. Specific Mac-oriented "How to ftp" instructions explaining the downloading procedure can be found in the periodic "Frequently Asked Questions" posting in the comp.sys.mac.announce newsgroup. These applications were included on a "Public Domain" diskette that ships with Altech MIDI interfaces. They are distributed by Altech mainly as a way of promoting their popular MIDI programming software packages, "MidiBasic" and "MidiPascal". All of them require an Apple Macintosh computer, MIDI interface, and MIDI synthesizer in order to run them. Altech Systems offer many Midi products for the Apple Macintosh including inexpensive MIDI interfaces.
