Reposted-by: emv@ox.com (Edward Vielmetti) Thankyou to the two people who replied. As promised, here is my reply: Patrick Wolfe (pat@kai.com, uunet!kailand!pat) replies saying screen has been ported to IRIX by Jim Barton from Silicon Graphics (jmb@sgi.sgi.com) I was given a copy by mail, which compiled after modifying lines 1787/8 so that the return value from setutent() was not checked. This version of screen now works fine. I am not sure if this version of screen can be ftp'd from anywhere. I also received a reply from Christos Zoulas (christos@ee.cornell.edu) indicating that he had ported screen to HP-UX, which could be ftp'd from tesla.ee.cornell.edu:pub/screen.tar.Z This wasn't particularly useful for IRIX, due to differences in the pty interface, but it may be useful to those people with some other variants of System V who want screen. -- Daniel Kirkham, ACSnet d.kirkham@trl.oz Telecom Research Laboratories, Internet d.kirkham@trl.oz.au P.O.
