Summary: Can you do it? Message-ID: <1991Jan31.203350.2436@mp.cs.niu.edu> Date: 31 Jan 91 20:33:50 GMT Organization: Northern Illinois University Lines: 10 I have seen several programs that make a call over your modem line to the US Naval Observatory (say) and set the PC's DOS or real-time clock. Wel, I don't have a modem, but I am connected to the internet. I can for example do FTP directly from the PC. SO is there a facility at one of these time-keeping institutions that will let me communicate with it over the internet and get the correct time? (preferably without human intervention) enquiring minds, and all that. rusin@math.niu.edu
