Basically, here is what you get. Now realize that this is not a complete list and some errors may be present and Microsoft could change the contents at any time. Now that the disclaimer is given here it goes: - DMAKE, distributed make program written by one of the Lan Manager developers at Microsoft. It is a very solid program that uses Named Pipe and File I/O to build pieces of a make on servers throughout the network in parallel - A distributed mandalbrot (sp?) program, haven't run this - A TALK program like that found in BSD but uses Named Pipe IPCs - Most if not all program snippetts found in Ralph Ryan's Lan Manager API book - Ralph Ryan's Lan Manager API book - Microsoft Press Programmers API book - *.h files and *.lib files that may or may not come with the user version - quickhelp files for Microsoft PWB I believe are included as well All of this sounds like more that what is on the BBS. Buy the kit and you can also get some support from Microsoft but I don't know how much you get for free. Darrell Starnes Systems Engineer Compaq Computer Corporation Houston, TX P.S. All of this is simply my own opinion.
