try nnsc.nsf.net under the internet drafts directories if you can't find an
RFC for it.  The file draft-ietf-ospf-ospf2-01.txt should help.  I haven't 
had a chance to look at it yet but it says on page one that version one waws 
documented in RFC 1131.  the draft is dated january 1991.
