I am posting this for a friend of mine who doesn't have access
to USENET, so please respond directly to mlevin@jade.tufts.edu.

I use a DEC vt220 to log onto a Sun 3 workstation. Can someone show
me how to define the gray keyboard keys (like "DO", "HELP", "SELECT",
etc.)? I managed it for an Encore Umax 4.3 running emacs, but the
same elisp function doesn't seem to work on the Sun's emacs (as far as
I can tell, it does nothing whatsoever). Please send me an example of
binding a gray key to an emacs function. Also, is it possible to keep
the keypad key definitions? Thanks in advance.
