I have successfully compiled and installed Epoch 3.2 and X11R4 with Thomas Roell's patches on ISC 386/ix 2.0.2. While everything seems to work fine, I have encountered one problem. If the minibuffer is overlapped by editing window (screen), and if I move the cursor into the minibuffer, the minibuffer window will flash and the editing window maps itself over the minibuffer. Therefore, I can never expose the minibuffer if a portion of it is overlapped by an editing window. This doesn't happen with two editing window overlapping each other. If I move the cursor into one window, it is exposed over the other one. It's almost as if when minibuffer is exposed, the editing window receives the same treatment by the window manager, although that's not what is supposed to happen. I am using X11R4 with Roell's patch mentioned above and with twm. Any e-mail or post reply is greatly appreciated. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aki Atoji {ncr-sd,ucsd}!serene!akix!aki aki@akix.uucp {nosc,ucsd,hplabs!hp-sdd}!crash!telesys!akix!aki ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
