SIMTEL20 is dedicated primarily to storing files and programs for MSDOS machines (i.e. PC's). Storing files for other architectures is not within their charter. If you have been reading this group for very long you know that I (dwp@willett.pgh.pa.us or uunet!willett!dwp) provide email access to whatever files people choose to post about (the majority come from the FIG library located in the FORTH RTC on GEnie). This is not an ideal solution since it consumes more net resources than anonymous FTP does. If anyone knows of a site willing to donate about 30-40 Meg for the storage of Forth files (the approximate current size of the FIG library), I would be very interested to hear of it. I would certainly be willing to handle the day-to-day business of storing the files and keeping them up to date, etc. (This is not to say that the email service would be discontinued. It is the only means that some people have to get these files.) -Doug
