Message-ID: <8310019@hpnmdla.HP.COM> Date: 31 Jan 91 04:42:56 GMT Organization: HP Network Measurements Div, Santa Rosa, CA Lines: 15 I know that this is asking a lot, but does anyone have an "un-ctime" in perl? I'm looking for something that takes a date string like "8:24 am Jan 31, 1991" (or "Wed Jan 30 20:40:34 PST 1991" -- note the differences in syntax) and converts it into the usual number of seconds since 0hrs UTC Jan 1, 1970. I know that implementations exist for C/yacc, but I'm wondering if anyone has done it for perl. Thanks, -- Darryl Okahata UUCP: {hplabs!, hpcea!, hpfcla!} hpnmd!darrylo Internet: darrylo%hpnmd@hp-sde.sde.hp.com
