I would like to annotate my messages with a line of the form:
Appt-Date: 3 Feb 91 13:21:40 GMT

The anno command can easily be used to do thia, but I would like to be
able to prompt the user for the date and time, and then convert it
into the date/time format as shown in the above example.  Has anyone
done this before?
