Therefore, I really only need two or three staves. However, I do want the music to look reasonably professional. The January 1991 issue of Electronic Musician gives a favorable review of Pygraphics Music Writer Level I. List is $119 but I can get it locally for $99. Now for the question: Has anyone tried this product and/or can anyone suggest a better alternative? Price is NOT the only issue but is a factor since I'm not sure how much I will actually use the program. (BTW, I am also planning to purchase Sonata font for PostScript output.) Thanks in advance for your help. Try email to the above address or post here if the subject warrants discussion. (I haven't read this newsgroup in a while, so I hope I'm not bringing up a dead subject.) :-) David Welch Disclaimer: Sorry, I can't think of anything witty to say.
