You dial the local CPN telephone number (get the number from Compuserve Information, an 800 phone call -- watch out!), then type WELL at the prompt, "Host Name:" (Oh yes, you must hit a return on first getting the CPN connect, to bring up the "Host Name:" prompt.) Then log in. I don't know if you can establish an account this way. I don't see why not. CPN charges the whopping side of my WELL bills. I think it's $4.50 an hour now. Still a lot cheaper than a long distance phone call, but you must factor this in with your account. Bob Jacobson
