Actually, as I understand it, the King James or Authorized version
of the Bible is the only one that's out of copyright.  That's why
the Gideons distribute that version.  The Revised Standard Version
(RSV), The Today's English Version(TEV), the New English Bible(NEB),
and that abominable paraphrase they call "The Living Bible" are
all protected under copyright law.
