(I used the AT boot configuration straight from the box.) Things looked good for a while, but there is something very wrong. It boots ok, logins are ok but makes and compiles of the tests intermittently fail. It looks like reads of include files and such are bad - not garbage but not right either. If after a failure I immediately do the make again, it may succeed. I haven't been able to get the real "skinny" on ESDI issues with MINIX yet - any light would be appreciated. (Is a special driver required for ESDI on AT bus?) Also, if anyone could suggest an alternative fast disk setup for this machine that is known to be "MINIX compatible", I'd welcome your input.
