I believe Minix is growing beyond manageable size, and there seems to be no way of checking its growth or modularising it. More's the pity. Personally, what I would like to see is a very tight kernel, call it what you wish - my choice would be to name it after Dijkstra - to enable networked PCs running varied operating systems to share their filesystems.
