The manual is not very clear on how to do this. Here's what I would like to do. I would like two icons to appear at the bottom of the screen once the Group-Main appears. One icon is essentially a .CMD file that starts a background process then enters a canned program. Once all work in the program is complete, the user is returned to the original screen and the icon reappears. The second icon would simply be the Desktop Manager shutdown command. I'm doing this because the people who use this system are not quite comfortable picking the Full Screen Window, typing a command, getting back to Group-Main, and running shutdown (HPFS filesystem). I thought if I reduced everything to icons it would be much easier. Your help is appreciated!! -- "For every word, there is a song upon which inspiration lies ...".
