I have been trying to add help to an application, using the 1.2 Help
Manager, but with not much success - the Help system pops up from the
system menu, but not from anywhere else.

I have the OS/2 Programmer's Reference Guides, Vols 1-4, and the 1.2
Softset, so I have the IPFC, but no written documentation or Quick
Help for the IPFC input language - I have obtained all help from
HELPDEMO, an example IPF file, which includes the syntax of all the
IPFC tags.
The documentation for the HELP resources for the resource compiler is
also very limited - 4 pages in quickhelp, and not too many more in the
manual.
(Why, why, why did MS not include any documentation for the IPFC, or
any sample programs in the Softset/Reference Guides?)

It seems that my main problem is in the HELP resources that I need to
add to my program: could someone please send me source for an example
application that uses the Help Manager?
