Lines: 17 We have recently received an offer from Emulex to replace our RA81, RA82, and RA90 disks with a number of Emulex SD-series (SD890-SD894) drives. Their salesperson claims *complete* compatibility with DEC RAxx drives, as well as decreased power consumption and greater dependability. Does anyone have any experience with these drives? They will be used on VMS 5.x and Ultrix 3.1/4.x systems; does anyone know of compatibility problems with any of these operating systems and/or HSC 50/70s? Please email any information/opinions; I will summarize if necessary. Thanks Brian White System Programmer New Jersey Institute of Technology brw@hertz.njit.edu brw@njit.edu brw@jazz.njit.edu
