There are at least three freeware POP3 servers available via the Internet, but I believe they all assume a Berkeley 'sockets' API for TCP. If your particular SysV has a reasonably complete 'sockets' implementation, you shouldn't have any trouble with the network side of the server, but at least some SysVs only support AT&T's 'streams' API for TCP.
