The Cnews port (Which is what I THINK is supplied with 1.08D) has Compressed news, but has a problem with Cross-posted messages. (Multiple copies going into Rejects). With Greg's News, you don't yet have Compressed news. Now which problem is handled first is yet to be seen. I myself am likely to continue with Greg's news processor as I more fully understand the source and can then be of more help to Greg. As well, Greg is working on a Shared library for message bases with the Welmat/Fidonet developers group, so his news software will have some interesting features.
