Take a look at the Review Buffer in Telemate 2.11 on the IBM. It's a damn nice setup. While downloading, you can hit Alt-B to pop up a box with a scrollable buffer of your session. Take the mouse, hold down the left button, drag across a file name in a listing, and then move the mouse pointer down to the main screen. Press the right button and it pastes that highlighted name. This type of intuitionized clipboard would make interactive downloading quick, easy, and fast. I think this is along the lines of what CS 231 section 2 was asking for. Personally, I'm more concerned with scripts and Kermit (XPR) use. When 1.1 (or whatever it's number is) comes out with these features, I know I'll be switching over to Jr-Comm and registering it. (And the thing I mentioned above would swing a lot of people over from what I've heard in circles of users....) -- John M.
