It is definately not on the same level as Falcon for complexity or graphic realism...heck...I am not even sure how 'realistic' the game is, but it does provide an enjoyable challenge when I don't want to grapple with Falcon. The graphics are not the greatest, being somewhat blocky, and the update is not as fast as some games I have seen (you want to see a FAST updat, take a look at F-29), but I do like the idea of the bombing missions and all of that. In some ways it relinds me of an old C64 game ACE in that it includes in-flight refueling, a tricky maneuver for the occasional pilot as myself. The built in editor also adds to the game by allowing you to edit the old or create the new missions as you desire. Currently I have Strike Aces, Falcon, F-18, F-16, F-29, Wings, BattleHawks, and Their Finest Hour (not to mention a couple of unusual flight sims such as DragonStrike and Deep Space), and I have yet to regret adding Strike Aces to an already large collection of sims. I would suggest that you try to look at and try the game if possible as it does not take full advantage of the Amiga's graphics capability. The play is the thing though... An interesting development...Strike Aces, which was released after Fighter Bomber, is the same programme, with a different opening screen... +---------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Clayton J.
