Manes "Mr. AmigaVision" wrote (summarized) That it would be better if I went with a 2000 system, because the 500 only has 512K, and that the 590 was a crummy HD. This is my fault, I should have clarified, all of the education systems with the 500 are 1 Meg, and I was looking for ANY realtivly cheap HD (by dependable) Hard Drive to operate the system, going up to a 2000 based system (atlthough nice) would probably be wasted (unless I had to have a 2000 to use the touchscreen) because of the cost for the 2000 system. (and also that I would not need to use the slots in the 2000 (save the Hard Drive)). P.S. All of the educatoin 500 systems come with AmigaVision and the 1084s monitor (along with the aformentioned 1 meg of memory) If neccessary I can also add extra ram through the HD for the 500...
