I've been trying to download files from a foreign host with FTP,
and then sending them to my Amiga disk.

I always get corrupted archives when the file gets to the Amiga side

I've tried setting the transfer type to binary and ascii, neither of
which makes a difference.  I've done the same with the Kermit protocol
that I use to get it to my system.  The program I use is called
'VT100/TEK4014 (V2.65)'.  I don't know where my transfer problem is.
