  Look for the AD-IDE controller, available any day now. A 40meg drive 
package sells for $460, with transfer speeds around 500kb/s, which is very
common. Best of all, it fits internally on the Amiga 500 without using up
the internal expansion slot or the floppy drive bay. 

  By the way, with all of the new Amiga newsgroups and the soon to be 
cancellation of this one, I was wondering why I only get one of the new 
newsgroups (csa.hardware).
