For a video tape we created of interactive demo, we used an ikegami camera to
video tape a flicker fixed image off a 19" Diamond Scan.  It cost a few bucks
for studio time, but the results were rather pleasing.  We now have the proper
encoders, that don't give you the ugly artifacts.
