CS Dept. Ithaca NY Lines: 18 Due to a very complicated sequence of events we have a network of 4xx machines which were ordered to run HPUX, but on which we are now going to run domain. This has some curious consequences: 1) Our servers (433s) machines have DIO interfaces with extra ethernet cards. Is there any hope that drivers will be available to support these cards under domain ? Also, the same question with respect to a terminal mux card. 2) All of our machines have HPIB interfaces. I have one answer from Apollo that suggests these will not be supported. Is anyone out there writing a driver to support these ? If not, does the HPIB interface occupy the same "slot" as the token ring interface shipped with Domain machines and in this case is it convenient to swap out the HPIB interface ?
