Until then,... Speaking of which, despite all the time I've spent on USENET and the amount of time I've had my //GS, I've never actually had to use XMODEM protocol or whatever. I've finally discovered .apple2 and I've been wanting to download a bunch of stuff, but FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN'T GET THE UNIX xmodem programs to talk to either ZLink (which I just downloaded today) or Mousetalk. I have a quick-and-dirty unix script to cat me chunks of the Binscii'd files and its works, but I'd really like to use XMODEM or KERMIT or something. Do you know how long it takes to do this stuff with a capture buffer 400 lines at a time? Do you? All I want is to make that protocol stuff work. I figure I'm just doing something plainly stupid and silly. So email me. Anyway, PLEASE help me, someone, anyone. Peace.
