I stand corrected. There may be a problem with programs using this mode, but with Quickdraw this is a minor point and most, if not all, programs should be able to run in this new 16 bit mode. Imagine the same thing on a DOS clone? Nothing would work. BTW, the GS has the same ability and there is no reason why an enhanced video card could not be produced (VOC not withstanding).
