I'd like to know in what way you find Atari's CacheXXX program absurd and non-functional? I recently switched to it after finding the cache built into my ICD booter to be less than optimal. I find Cachexxx to work much better and uses less memory other than cache buffer space. Of course reading the docs explains how to set up a variable data-fat buffer area for real fine tuning. Does it really break on the mega, or have you even tried it? -- John Henders jhenders@jonh.wimsey.bc.ca Vancouver,B.C. or jhenders@wimsey.bc.ca or ubc.cs!van-bc!jonh!jhenders
