My color monitor, SC1224, is constantly making high pitched sounds. I have taken it to my local dealer and he said that all ATARI monitors make those sounds. I doubt this. My friend has one of the older color monitors and it doesn't make any rude squeals. If I lightly slap the monitor the sound goes away. I know, I know that isn't the way to fix something but what else can I do? Also, when there are no squeals coming from the monitor the speaker constantly hums. What can be done about that? HELP!!! -> Greg. email: zeibari@wharton.upenn.edu
