     I've had trouble loading some font files from disks massaged by Neo 2.n

that show bogus files. This on 1040 @2.5M w/TOS1.0. The same files copied
 w/ the std desktop onto disks formatted by std desktop appear to behave. This 
whole affair sure has made me long for an accessible power switch!!!  Any
congruent experiences??  from beneath meters of snow, in far flung Fairbanks
