The Macs could run tcp/ip if configured, and I want to set up SLIP between Macs and Terminal servers so that the Macs can use UNIX resources. The need is for XWindows (I know, 19200 is *slow* for X), eventually SMTP Mail, telnet, FTP, and lpr. IP sites at our place include decstation 5000, convex, silicon graphics, and (VMS) vaxes running ip. I would like to know whether someone tried this. Pointers, Offers, Resouce tips, and all other hints welcome. ************************************************************************ Dr. Reinhard Doelz * EAN doelz@urz.unibas.ch Biocomputing * DECNET 48130::doelz Biozentrum der Universitaet * X25 psi%46211142::embnet Klingelbergstrasse 70 * FAX x41 61 256760 CH 4056 Basel * TEL x41 61 253880 ext 888 ************************************************************************
