This forces the Apollo customer > base to move to HP-UX or OSF/1 to be able to use it. > umm, pardon my ignorance, but i didnt think that domain/os has _ever_ run on hp-pa machines. hp-pa is hp's on risc boxes and they were out long before hp and apollo merged. hp-ux wont run on the DN10000's either, but that's equally irrelevant... i really dont know that much about how much hp has committed to supporting domain/os 'cause i am an hp-ux user... it is my understanding though that the DN10000 has been upgraded since hp and apollo merged and that hp is planning on supporting for a fair while. they are also planning on merging hp-pa and the DN10000's, so future versions will offer some compatibility. i think hp has also committed to supporting domain/os on the 68k line for a long time. the new series 400's run either domain/os, hp-ux or (in the future) osf/1. -wayne
