I think it is called Canon LX. It has no ram, processor etc. It is driven by the host computer via controller. Applications for example DP-Tek's LaserPort PS600 (true 600dpi controller). I've seen Canon LBP CX, which is also a pure engine machine, but I think thatit is older than Canon LX. Also other pure engine lasers may do if they have the video-interface slot (found on Laserjet II/III, Canon LBP-4).
