Keywords: okidata ol400 laserjet Message-ID: <1991Jan31.002146.1151@persoft.com> Date: 31 Jan 91 00:21:46 GMT Organization: Persoft, Inc. Lines: 22 I'm looking for a moderately priced laser printer that is sufficiently advanced that it will not be obsolete in the next 3-5 years. I was initially planning on going with an HP LaserJet III, but recently the Okidata OL400 has been suggested to me as a lower cost alternative. Several questions come to mind, and I'm hoping the net at large can help me answer a few of them: - Does anyone have experience with the OL400 or any of the other Okidata laser printers? - What features does the LaserJet III have that the OL400 lacks? - How does the OL400 compare with the LaserJet IIP (its closest price competitor)? - How much is the OL400 going for on the street? - Is there a printer from Okidata that is one or two steps up that might be a better competitor for the LaserJet III? Any and all information on the subject will be appreciated. Thanks!
