I would say that the compatibility problem is with the AMI BIOS. I would wonder what other software will not run on the AMI BIOS. Superkey is a very early TSR and not very cleanly written but I would still regard its failure under the AMI BIOS as a serious problem with the compatibility of the AMI BIOS. Instead of looking for a replacement for Superkey, you might be better off in the long run to look for a replacement for your BIOS. BTW, I find Keyworks to be a much better keyboard macro program than Superkey.
