On my XT, Windows 3.0 worked with CGA (although you could only see
a small fragment of all windows, in black & white).
It worked also with Hercules (also black & white, but with much
more detail).
But poor me, when I inserted an EGA card in the XT (for the sake of
good resolution & colour), Windows refused to work properly...

I've tried to install, reinstall, etc. but nothing worked.
Until now I did not succeed in making Windows 3.0 work on my
XT + EGA configuration...
It shows the Windows Entry Bitmap and then it crashes.
I think there may be a stack error or so???

Did you have similar problems, Gerd?
