Manager? Message-ID: <1991Feb5.222040.7691@cs.mcgill.ca> Date: 5 Feb 91 22:20:40 GMT Sender: news@cs.mcgill.ca (Netnews Administrator) Organization: SOCS, McGill University, Montreal, Canada Lines: 11 Originator: frankhua@bart I have some problem with the accessing of 4M memory(SIMM) on my 386 pc. It works ok for Win3.0, but when I try to use other applications(outside window) like QuickC, it seems the program can't see the extended memory. Someone told me that I should either upgrade to DOS 4.01(current 3.3) or buy a Extended/Expanded manager(about 120 bucks). Can anyone tell me whether Dos 4.01 can handle extended memory or not? What shall I do? Any alternatives? Thanks a lot.
